You learn something new every day

Many things have happened in my life in the past few years.
 

In 2008, I moved to Topeka for the summer

then to Salina for good.

We lived with Matt's parents

then bought a house.

And then we got married.

Got a dog

and a cat

and decided to move again.

We bought a car in there somewhere

and inherited a nephew.
 

Every one of these things has changed my life.

For the better.

And among those things I also gained a little sister.

It's officially been a year+ that I met Kenz through BBBS.

I find it crazy

[insane]

[unbelievable]

that it's been a year.

But I have learned so much in the process.

Like..

meeting people for the first time can be scary, no matter how big, small, old or young they are

and I suck at skating

running can be fun!

and it seems you can easily turn someone into a KU fan

Halloween is my favorite holiday

and that kids make the best friends

but they grow up way too fast.

Turns out being a "Big" is really just code for "Big Baby."

Because I'm totally tearing up right now
just talking about how much fun we've had.
