New Year's Eve this year was a success! Matt, Nicka, and I went over to Doug & Jo's house for a festive celebration complete with Wii bowling and Mariokart. Jake & Ericka stopped by later and had a few beers with us, and we then celebrated the "New York" countdown at 11. After that we went back to the house to celebrate again the actual midnight countdown, which was fun! Last year I didn't catch the countdown at all, so I made up for it this year with 2.
New York is coming up in just about a week and I am completely stoked for it! We purchased our "New York Pass" which gets us into all of the main attractions in the city via double-decker busses.
Nicka came down last Thursday and stayed until yesterday. We had a dandy time and got some Raquetball time in, as well as going to see New Moon. It was a lovely time and I was glad to have someone to hang out with while Matthew was working.
This week should fly by, I'm sure and I can't wait to head out to New York next Thursday! I hope everyone had a great New Year's experience!
