Fall TV

Alright, I promise I'll have an update on the housing situation soon. But for now, I'm going to share my TV problem with you.
And by "problem" I mean that I watch too much of it.

The plethora of super-awesome new shows this year didn't help my addiction.
Here's a run-down.

Go On
When I heard that Matthew Perry had a new TV show, I nearly peed myself from the excitement.
Premise: Dude's wife dies, his work friends force him to go to a support group, hilariousness ensues.
He nails the comedy in this one, as usual. And somehow, he has gotten more attractive as the years have passed. Yum.

The New Normal
Premise: A Modern Family-esque story of  two dudes who want a kid. Enter the surrogate, her crazy mother and goofy daughter and you've got yourself a cluster of dysfunction.
Hilarious & dramatic all at the same time.

Partners
Probably my favorite of all the new shows this year.
Premise: Two best friends who have known each other...forever, have an architectural firm together. One's gay, with a super-man boyfriend [literally] and the other's engaged. The laughs never end with this one.

Revolution
Premise: The lights go out.
Sounds dumb, right? Think about it, though. What would we do if we had no electricity?
Shit would likely hit the fan. Which is what happens in this show. It's awesome.

Ben & Kate
Premise: Dorky & immature brother moves in with his sister.
I stopped watching this show. The acting is terrible, in my opinion.

Emily Owens, MD
Premise: young, quirky doctor.
I've only seen the pilot online, but it seems funny, so I'm going to give it a shot.

Nashville
Premise: Old singer gets thrown on new young singer's tour.
Drama.

Chicago Fire
Premise: Firemen.
Really, that's all I need to say.

Arrow
Premise:  I have absolutely no idea. And I don't care. I'm watching anyway.

Comments

  1. I tried Guys with Kids-not funny and worst of all...audience laughter. Also watched Animal Practice, pretty good, no Parks or Office, but it'll do. It is high in sarcasm so I'm on board.
